At our company, we are particular about six elements of work and implement defect countermeasures.
Screw tightening
When tightening bolts and screws with a rechargeable screwdriver, there is a low chance that you will forget to tighten them, but if you cannot tighten them with a rechargeable screwdriver, you will need to tighten them by hand, and in that case, human error will occur. One of the most common human errors is forgetting to tighten screws.
There are various reasons why a screw may be forgotten to be tightened, such as cases in which the product is temporarily tightened but not fully tightened, or cases in which the product is interrupted due to someone talking to you during the work and the product is spilled as is. Therefore, as preventive measures, we take measures such as repeatedly checking after tightening with hand tools or a rechargeable screwdriver, visually checking the circumference of the screw 180 degrees, and always touching the head of the screw with your hand.
E-ring insertion
After installing the E-ring and C-ring, a quality check is very important. It must be ensured that it is installed correctly, as this may cause problems with the performance of the product. After firmly installing it, we turned it around to check the whole thing and visually check the installation condition.
Wiring connection
Connecting the correct wire to the correct foot is the basic of wiring. Make sure the foot number and wire number match. If the foot number and wire number do not match, a problem may occur in the circuit. Next, check it by touching it with your hands. Place your hand on the connection to make sure the wire is firmly attached and not loose. Finally, check visually. Carefully inspect the wiring connections under bright lighting.
Visual confirmation is an important check to quickly find deficiencies and defects.
Cable ties
After installing cable ties, we always check them to ensure safety and reliability.
First, you need to visually see the cut. The cable ties serve to secure the wire, but make sure the cut is done correctly.
Next, use your hands to move the cable ties back and forth and from side to side. Make sure the band is secure and securely ties the wires together. Readjust any improper tightening or loose bands.
Then, visually check to see if you have missed any harnesses. Make sure the wiring harness is assembled correctly and that no wires are missing in any part.
Nameplate
A nameplate is a flat plate that displays the brand name (author’s name or company name). It is essential for product identification and quality control.
First, visually check the pasting direction. Make sure the nameplate is oriented correctly and consider whether the information about the product is easy to read.
Next, check the paste position. If the nameplate is affixed in the wrong position, it can be difficult to read and maintain the information.
Furthermore, check the adhesion condition by looking at it with your eyes and then touching it with your hands. Check by hand to make sure that the nameplate is firmly attached and has not peeled off or floated.
Document
After filling out the documents, I make sure to check the contents again after filling out one item, even if there are no mistakes.
After completing all items, please reconfirm the entire contents.
By checking the information after filling it out, you can discover errors and deficiencies early on and prevent problems from occurring.
